A Sacred Valley Full-Day Tour offers a comprehensive and enjoyable way to experience the beauty and cultural richness of the Sacred Valley of the Incas including Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero.
DAY 01: CUSCO - PISAC - URUBAMBA - OLLANTAYTAMBO - CHINCHERO:
We will pick you up from your accommodation in Cusco between 7:30 – 8:00 am to start the journey through the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Our first stop is Pisac, where you will explore the impressive Inca ruins perched high above the valley. Your guide will explain their agricultural, military, and religious importance. Afterward, stroll through the traditional Pisac market, famous for handicrafts, textiles, and silver jewelry.
We continue our journey for about 45 minutes to reach Urubamba, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring a variety of local Andean and Peruvian dishes. After lunch, we head to Ollantaytambo, known as the “Living Inca Town.” Here you will take a guided tour of the ancient fortress and ceremonial center, visiting highlights such as the Temple of the Sun, Temple of the Moon, and impressive terraces that once served as both defense and agriculture. In the afternoon, we visit Chinchero, a picturesque Andean town famous for its colonial church built atop Inca foundations. You’ll also learn about traditional Andean weaving techniques demonstrated by local women, preserving ancestral textile traditions.
Return: We will return to Cusco in the evening, arriving at approximately 6:30 – 7:00 pm.
