Palcoyo Mountain

Pick-up from hotel in Cusco between 4:30-5:00 am. Start your journey with a comfortable ride through the southern valley of Cusco. Along the way, enjoy Andean landscapes, small villages, and herds of llamas and alpacas. At aproximately 08:30 am. You will be Arriving in Palcoyo (4,750m / 15,419 ft) to begin a gentle 30 to 45 minutes walk to the first viewpoint at 4,850m (15,912 ft). Here, you’ll admire the three rainbow-colored mountains that make Palcoyo so unique. Free time at the viewpoint to take photos, breathe in the pure mountain air, and enjoy the quiet beauty of the Andes. Here there will be an optional Hike to the stone Forest If you’d like, hike an additional 30 minutes uphill to the Stone Forest, a striking group of rock formations with panoramic views of the rainbow mountain range. After that we will walk back down to the starting point and board the vehicle and drive to enjoy a delicious local lunch. Finally return back to Cusco and you will get drop-off near the city center of Cusco around 4:30-5:00 pm.
